Apple app licence

The iOS app is licensed under Apple's standard Terms of Use (EULA). These TRNUP Terms of Service describe use of the TRNUP service.

Who we are and acceptance

TRNUP is operated by SKOGHEIM TECHNOLOGIES, a Norwegian sole proprietorship registered in the Central Coordinating Register for Legal Entities (Enhetsregisteret), organisation number 937 840 977, with its registered address at Cort Adelers gate 20, 0254 Oslo, Norway.

These terms form an agreement between you and SKOGHEIM TECHNOLOGIES. By creating an account or continuing to use TRNUP, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required to use an online service in your country. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, you confirm that you have it.

Give accurate account information, keep access to your email and device secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.

TRNUP is social accountability

TRNUP lets people create private crews, make weekly commitments, post photo proofs, chat and use features such as Skip Police. A proof shows that content was captured and shared through TRNUP; it is not a guarantee of location, exercise completion, identity, health or performance.

Skip Police, leaderboards, votes and reactions are social and humorous product features. They are not disciplinary decisions, medical advice or objective assessments of a person.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos, messages, comments and other content you submit. You give TRNUP a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and show it to the audience you selected. The licence ends when the content is deleted from our active systems, except where retention is legally required or technically necessary in backups.

Only share content you have the right to share. Obtain permission before posting identifiable people, and avoid capturing other people in gyms or public spaces without their consent.

Feature ideas submitted to the feedback board are shown to signed-in users without your displayed identity so people can vote on priorities. Do not include personal, confidential or sensitive information. You can delete your own idea; TRNUP may moderate, hide, combine or change the status of ideas and does not promise to build or compensate any suggestion.

Community rules

Do not use TRNUP for harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, sexual or exploitative content, illegal activity, impersonation, spam, fraud, or content that infringes privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not use Skip Police or mentions to repeatedly target someone or pressure them in a harmful way.

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape private content, probe the service, distribute malware, automate abusive activity or interfere with other users. TRNUP can automatically reject high-severity abusive text. People can send a private in-app safety report about a proof or account, challenge whether a proof counts as a workout through Skip Police, and block other users. A safety report does not start a public crew vote. We may remove content, restrict features or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.

Do not create or coordinate accounts to manipulate votes, evade reasonable request limits, obtain a trial you are not eligible for, or circumvent a suspension. Shared networks and devices are not by themselves proof of abuse; we use proportionate account, store and service signals before taking action.

We review sufficiently specific reports in a timely, objective and non-arbitrary way. Where contact details are available and the law requires it, we explain material content or account restrictions and provide a free route to ask for review at hi@trnup.app. For suspected illegal content, identify the content, explain why you believe it is illegal and include your contact information unless the law permits an exception.

AI and automated features

TRNUP does not currently provide an AI coach or send private user data to a generative-AI service. Clearly labelled AI-generated onboarding examples are fictional demonstrations, not testimonials or real user results.

Goal, streak, score, entitlement, reminder and Skip Police results are generated by product rules. They can be incomplete or wrong and are not decisions about health care, employment, insurance, credit or another legal right. Health and safety

TRNUP is not a medical, health-care or emergency service. Training suggestions, scores and social feedback are general information, not medical advice. Exercise carries risk; use your own judgment, follow facility rules and seek qualified advice when needed. Do not use the app while an activity makes phone use unsafe.

TRNUP is not a crisis service and does not monitor messages for emergencies. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact the local emergency number or an appropriate crisis service instead of relying on TRNUP.

Optional Apple Health or Health Connect information is provided by your device and may be incomplete or inaccurate. A 'Workout verified' label means only that the connected health platform contains the linked workout; it does not authenticate the proof photo, identity, effort or location. Health information never automatically creates, removes, verifies or rejects a Skip.

The optional Apple Watch companion displays a cached summary from the paired iPhone for convenience. It is not a medical monitor, emergency feature or independent source of truth. Values can be delayed when the devices are disconnected, in low-power modes or unable to communicate.

Paid features

TRNUP Pro and Crew Pro purchase screens show the store-provided price, billing period, any trial, when payment starts and the automatic-renewal terms before purchase. Mobile subscriptions are purchased and managed through the App Store or Google Play. You can open the relevant store's Manage subscription page from your TRNUP profile to change or cancel a plan. Cancel before the store's stated renewal deadline to avoid the next charge. Platform rules govern billing, cancellation and refunds in addition to rights that cannot be excluded by law.

TRNUP Pro applies to the purchasing account. Crew Pro includes TRNUP Pro for the paying owner and applies to one selected crew. One purchaser may sponsor one active Crew Pro crew at a time. Changing between TRNUP Pro and Crew Pro is processed by the store as a plan change where supported; the store purchase sheet controls the effective date, charge or credit. Entitlements remain available through the paid or applicable grace period and can change when the store reports cancellation, expiry, refund or billing failure.

A free trial, if the store says you are eligible, converts to the displayed paid subscription unless you cancel through the store before the trial ends. Trial eligibility and redemption limits are determined by Apple or Google for the relevant subscription group or offer; creating another TRNUP account does not create a new store entitlement. Deleting your TRNUP account does not cancel store billing; cancel the store subscription separately before deleting your account.

Intellectual property and feedback

TRNUP, its software, branding, interface and original assets are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of TRNUP or another person's content.

If you believe content infringes your copyright or another right, email hi@trnup.app with your contact details, the exact content or location, the right you own or represent, and why the use is unauthorised. Knowingly false infringement notices may cause harm and legal liability.

Disclaimers and responsibility

TRNUP is provided with reasonable care, but user content, connected-platform data and social judgments can be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, another user's conduct, or losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.

Service changes and availability

TRNUP is under active development. We may add, change or remove features, perform maintenance, or stop offering part of the service. We do not promise that the service will always be available or error-free, but nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using TRNUP at any time and delete your account in the app as described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting a TRNUP account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google; you must cancel it separately in the relevant store settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches, security risk, legal requirements or conduct that harms users or the service. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to appeal by contacting hi@trnup.app.

Law, changes and contact

Norwegian law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory consumer protections in your country. Disputes may be brought before the competent Norwegian courts or another forum available under mandatory consumer law.

We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required. Questions can be sent to hi@trnup.app.
